To increase its artistic strength, share in a variety of creative processes, create a diverse network of fellow performing artists, and reach new audiences, San Jose Taiko frequently participates in collaborations that cut across artistic disciplines. Working with an "open mind and open heart'', San Jose Taiko strives to expand, extend, and enhance the boundaries of its art. Past Collaborations have included work with George Coates Performance Works, American Conservatory Theatre, San Jose Repertory Theatre, Brenda Wong Aoki, Margaret Wingrove Dance Company, Abhinayan Dance Company, Eth-Noh-Tec, Keith Terry and Crosspulse, Anthony Brown, Jon Jang, Mark Izu, Ondekoza, Kodo, Eitetsu Hayashi, Kenny Endo, Russel Baba, Jeanne Mercer, and Marco Lienhard.
