Festival
Taiko is often showcased at matsuri, or festivals, held during special seasons in Asian American communities. The growth of the art form owes much to the visibility that taiko groups have enjoyed at these celebrations. San Jose Taiko gladly participates in these local events, as well as at multicultural and music/dance festivals, state fairs, and civic celebrations throughout the country.
