Ways To Contribute to San Jose Taiko

Your support is vital to the growth of our artistic company. Below are ways you can contribute to San Jose Taiko today.

For more information on how to contribute to SJT feel free to contact us by phone (408-293-9344) or by email: donate@taiko.org. Thank you!

Online Gifts
You can make a gift online. Donations can be made to SJT through the Network For Good website. Using a credit card your contribution will be sent in full directly to us. This is a convenient and easy way to contribute to our programs!

Gifts in Kind
Our operating budget makes it difficult to make capital expenditures on large ticket items. SJT is presently in need of the following:

Corporate Matching Gifts

Increase your support with corporate matching gifts. Did you know that your gift might be doubled each year through your company's matching program? Your gift to San Jose Taiko may be worth more than you think and you may be entitled to additional benefits at your matched level of giving.

Stock Gifts
Gifts of stock make great sense, tax-wise. Did you know that you might donate stock to San Jose Taiko? A gift of appreciated securities can be one of the most attractive ways for you to support San Jose Taiko. Moreover, with gifts of appreciated stock, you also:
· Avoid capital gains
· Qualify for a tax-deduction based on the fair market value of stock
· Support the nationally renowned San Jose Taiko performing company.

Become a SJT Volunteer
San Jose Taiko is at the heart of San Jose's arts community located in the historic Japantown. We are looking for volunteers to create a committee and coordinate the talent, time and energy of people who care about the city, the music and San Jose Taiko. We welcome new volunteer members who bring energy, talent, expertise, and commitment to the organization. In addition to providing support to one of the leading North American Taiko groups, becoming a volunteer offers opportunities for involvement in a wide array of projects. Varied assignments, personal growth, and association with the San Jose Taiko family are some of the many rewards of membership. SJT appreciates any type of support but is on the lookout for:

· Special Event Coordination
· Fundraising Projects
· Carpentry/Handy Person
· Office Administration
· Volunteer Executive
· Board Membership
