San Jose
Taiko's Adult Recreational Class (ARC) is open to adults of
all ages and skill levels. ARC is designed to give people the
chance to play taiko on a casual basis and covers basic playing
techniques, taiko history and etiquette, and San Jose Taiko's
philosophy. Although no experience is necessary, participants
must be at least 15 years old and capable of fairly rigorous
physical activity.
There are
currently three ARC sessions offered per year:
- Winter:
January-March
- Summer:
April-May
- Fall:
October-November

or call the SJT office at (408) 293-9344. Due to the popularity
of this class, the average amount of time spent on the waiting
list is 9 months.

aren't able to take an ARC session you can always take one of
our Public Workshops!
